I'm Rich Horton, a software engineer working for Boeing in St. Louis, MO. I was born in Naperville, IL. Graduated from the University of Illinois in 1981 with a B.A. in Physics. I also write regular columns for Locus (on short science fiction) and Black Gate (on the history of SF), and a write further reviews for Fantasy Magazine, SF Site, and other publications.

I've been married to Mary Ann Davidson Horton for over 20 years, and we have two kids, Melissa and Geoff, both in High School now.
